As our long-serving company Accountant prepares for retirement after 30 years of dedicated service, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal role, working closely with our directors to manage the financial operations of a trusted and successful business.

This part-time position (approximately 24 hours per week) offers flexibility, making it ideal for someone seeking a three-day workweek or school-friendly hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency
• Track project expenditures, ensuring costs remain within approved budgets
• Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes

About You:

• A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Accounting qualification preferred (CA or CPA)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
