With over 55 years of experience in the design, manufacture, and supply of pole solutions they have become New Zealand’s number one pole manufacturer, offering standard and customised solutions of the highest quality.

Due to consistent year-on-year growth, they are seeking an additional Assistant Accountant to join their dedicated team, initially on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity to get a foot in the door with a leading company in their field!

Key responsibilities will include:

• Creditors (Accounts Payable): Process and reconcile invoices, manage payment runs, handle credit card transactions, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Debtors (Accounts Receivable): Oversee invoicing, chase outstanding debts, update accounts, generate ATB reports, and manage credit and cash sales accounts.
• Month-End Processes: Support payroll and account reconciliations, prepare adjustment journals, run sales reports, assist with GST filings, and review P&L and fixed asset records.
• Other Tasks: Assist with cash flow forecasting, process FBT returns and tax payments, and provide support for system queries.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Accounting qualifications or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years’ recent experience at a similar level
